Due to his relationship with Haurchefant and the events of Heavensward in particular, Sullivan is not very fond of Meteor, which is another reason why he never officially joined the Scions. The grudge and hatred is gone now, but the whole thing is still hard for him.

He is heavily involved in the story of ARR and Heavensward, however he joins Estinien in his travels from post-HW onward, and falls into the habit of showing up, being hot, and then promptly disappearing (like Estinien).

Sullivan does possess the Echo, which among other things allows him to "hear" the souls of dragons across long distances. He never knew the Scions existed, instead following the song of the dragons north and eventually ending up in the care of House Fortemps.

I should also say that I originally had Sullivan become a Machinist, wherein his gear was designed to syphon ambient aether from the environment. However, as I developed Duskwight lore in general, I realized that Sullivan has sensitive ears and that firing a gun is probably not good for his hearing.

As a dragoon, his armor and lance are blessed by all living members of the First Brood + Midgardsormr and Ratatoskr, and are additionally augmented with aether crystals, which allow him to do most dragoon abilities without having to use his own aether.

Sullivan wanted to carry on his mother's legacy by being a Black Mage, and he found out rather quickly that not only could high-level magic instantly kill him, but that he also couldn't control it. This is why his hands and forearms have burn scars.

Sullivan is also fond of jewelry, particularly silver, with opals, sapphires, rubies, amethyst, and various colors of pearls being his favorite gemstones to wear.

In my canon, Ishgard has a relatively underground drag scene, and Sullivan's clothes are either custom creations or altered/fitted by a drag queen named Memento Mori.

Sullivan generally has a preference for dresses and skirts, and he is also known for wearing heeled shoes/boots.

The state of and whereabouts of their souls is unclear, but they are likely in a regulator as opposed to their reincarnations.

Fr though, I struggled with my own labels for a while, so I totally see where you're coming from.

If Sullivan has he is in the universe of FFXIV were transported to the real world, he'd likely go with a similar profession. He is, after all, a shard of the second ever Halmarut (Melanthios), so he does feel drawn to plants in a general sense.

From an appearance perspective no, but from a story perspective... yeah, actually.
