What kind of texture would you have preferred? I loved the personality traits of 2014, but they just never really played out at the table.

I had an amazing time using the new set at a con yesterday and today. The design of this set is absolutely amazing. Well done you and the team!

This podcast is the best! You guys have such great chemistry. Do you play in a campaign together or something?

I’ll be testing it for my 5e24 game, though I do allow long rests in the Wilderness that only restore PC’s to max HP. The players were not that excited.

It’s not promo material

Yeah you’re missing that a quarterstaff is a spellcasting focus for a druid.

Monsters no longer follow the rules for PC’s when it comes to equipment for ease of use at the table and to make them say relevant. Why these guys do so much damage, I don’t know.

Greyhawk is the setting that is in the revised DMG.

This can often be a struggle for me. PC’s level up and expect there to be teleportation circles all over the kingdom. Could you do a Mastering Dungeons on this at one point? Or have you already covered this?

What disappointed you? I never had much care for the subclass, and I don’t know how I feel about it yet.

How do you plant your introduce this to your players?

I really wish the stat grid for monsters was like it is on D&DBeyond for the physical book!
April 12, 2025 at 4:30 PM
Yeah, the alphabetization is actually working out great for me so far at the table. The orc and drow thing I just don’t really care about for my games. I still want a stats by CR table, for sure.

Most of my biggest issues have been fixed. Stronger monsters, less spells, no more resistance to nomagical b/p/s damage, underwhelming legendary actions. What choices do you mean?

Hell yeah, maths!

In short: there is no beginner class.

I'm still hurt by the bold claim that the reworked monsters from Multiverse would hit harder. That was a F*ckin lie.

It's the wrong account, Teos! @dndbeyond.com is the one who should give our flumph expert a chance to show off psionic jellyfish superiority.

Yeah I invested in Roll20, and I really don't want to have to fork over hundreds of euros to buy the books a 3rd time. I'm scared to make the jump for the player experience with character sheets...
January 10, 2025 at 7:27 AM
Oh boy, I keep seeing people with issues on the Roll20 reddit. I was about to try it myself too. Let me know how it goes.

How are you enjoying the weapon masteries?
January 8, 2025 at 6:17 AM
Are they multiplayer or MMORPG’s? It’s a huge difference when players can choose the way to spend their time. It’s closer to solo play because they don’t need anyone to be there to craft.
