Vallira's old iteration when she was a Rook was Valkyrie Ingellvar and she had a visual disability (albinism of the eyes), but that became too tough for me to write authentically and didn't make sense narratively for her to have it.

the Veilguard, that might make it harder for Vallira to later resurrect Elgar'nan (which, unblighted and being one of the strongest spirits if not THE strongest, he would be necessary in their fight against the actual threat coming.)
