some old (about a year old) drawings to get started!! first one's a somewhat experimental self-portrait, second was a commission that im really happy with!! and third one's rouge, it was for a collab initially but we never continued it so here u go :>
self-portrait of the artist, done in black and white. they have semi-long hair which you know has been dyed thanks to the visibly overgrown roots. they have round glasses and are doing a silly facial expression with the tongue sticking out. they're wearing some sort of hoodie with their right arm resting on their right knee, as their leg is bent for comfort. their other arm's only partially visible, being hidden behind the left leg which is laying down; they're using that arm to support their weight as they sit on the floor. they're wearing combat boots which "fade-out", due to being close to the "camera" (the viewer's point of view) and not being the main point of focus of the sketch. the shading is exaggerated; all done with "hatching" wherever there are shadows. there's also the artist's watermark under the left leg. black and white drawing of a girl wearing warm clothes (striped hat with pointy corners that look like cat ears, short bomber/puffy jacket, long fingerless gloves, a pair of baggy jeans with pockets on the side of each leg and star shaped patches on the knees and big platform shoes). she's sitting on the floor with her legs bent towards her; she's using her right arm as support on the floor while her left arm rests on one of her knees. she's expressionless and looks either tired or cold as we can see eyebags under her eyes. she has long hair that goes over her unused hoodie and a hair strand in her mouth which might've accidentally gotten there from her own movement or the wind, since as we probably all know, hair is annoying. the shading is light on this drawing, done with hatching, however dark clothing items; such as the gloves, platform boots and the stripes on her hat; are filled in with hatching. rouge (humanoid white bat character) from the sonic game franchise wearing an alternative outfit (strapless puffy bralette, corset, 2000's style double-frill jean mini-skirt with a thin belt who has a heart-shaped buckle, long gloves, a choker and piercings on her ears and mouth area), we can see her from the side as shes standing against what is probably a wall (only her figure is visible on the drawing). she's blowing smoke as she looks at the "viewer". she also has a tattoo on her chest.
