My goal this year is to spend less time online and connect directly. I fear some of my real friendships have become parasocial in the digital age.

Facebook was really the only platform that I used to connect with and keep up with friends. IG was pretty pictures and cat videos. The little that I used Twitter and now Bluesky is as to way to follow journalists and and thought leaders.
