• i really like the idea of charlotte, an assistroid which is a sort of artificial being, loving flowers and nature in general. and she loves exploring the city! she met chloe by chance a few times while wandering around, and as they got closer chance meetups eventually became planned meetups.

• in the end, all three of them ended up getting attached to each other. at some point charlotte did start trying to do her own thing, but she reassured the two (especially wendy) that no matter where she goes or what she discovers, she'll always come back to them.

• they gave charlotte the freedom to do whatever she wanted and learn more about herself. the first thing she did after finally being in operation was to try learning more about wendy and odile, and assist them in their day to day lives despite not being obligated to.

odile was hesitant at first, asking wendy if she was sure and reminding her of her tendency to get too attached to the assistroids she would work on.

• as an upperclass citizen and former engineer, wendy has lots of connections and is, of course, acquainted with briar. she saw charlotte during a visit to briar and, out of curiosity, asked about the idle assistroid. wendy then asked to have her and had odile help in giving her the cardia system.

• charlotte, an unfinished assistroid whose creator passed away before she could finish building her. as she was about to be disposed of by the lab which had no use for her, briar finds her and takes her in, finishing her creation themself out of sympathy for the abandoned assistroid.
