not if the app is meant to be local only. it would need internet only if you want to make the app collaborative in some way

the syntax would be much easier and the cache would be redundant

i'm working on something that might do away w state management altogether... it's a reactive database that runs locally and has networking capabilities for sharing things w other users. it will connect to a database online but just pings when there's once every 5-10 mins
