Speaking of discord alternatives, what the hell happened to rocket chat and mattermost? Their websites are almost identical, marketing themselves to governments and militaries now? Did they get bought out by the same company or something?

I've been using packwiz to manage a few custom modpacks, but it lacks a few features I wanted, so I made packwiz-utils to provide those. It has a better cf detect and adds mr detect and mr merge, which adds modrinth metadata to curseforge files. github.com/sugoidogo/pa... #packwiz #packwiz-utils

I have converted my web services from js to ts, and it has already pointed out a small slew of mistakes I've made in the JavaScript modules, mostly involving forgetting to use await. I've already sent out the updates so if you have any issues with my software, please let me know.

If you're thinking about trying Linux on anything besides a gaming PC, get OpenSUSE KDE. It comes with an app store called Discover, preconfigured for system and flatpak software, aka you don't need to touch a terminal to install 90% of the software you can get on Linux.

A long time ago, I was supposed to update PNGTube and SugoiTTS to be an easy replacement for TTSAvatars, but life happened and I never got around to it. I do still want to do that, but something that just works is long overdue, so I've updated TTSAvatar to use the set-and-forget refreshing tokens.

A long time ago, I was supposed to update PNGTube and SugoiTTS to be an easy replacement for TTSAvatars, but life happened and I never got around to it. I do still want to do that, but something that just works is long overdue, so I've updated TTSAvatar to use the set-and-forget refreshing tokens.
I just had to say no to no less than 10 different services, including AI slop, offered by google on my new phone just to get to the oem unlock button so that I could install @grapheneos.org. None of these services seemed to be features of my phone or phone service.

Twitch has updated their API, and now any clip player will require the consent of the broadcaster to play their clips. It needs a server-side component, so I've released my own to help quickly get everyone's clip players working again. github.com/sugoidogo/tw...

If you're having issues with any of my software, it may be due to overzealous anti-virus. Comcast/Xfinity is apparently now blocking some of my domains as potentially unsafe, so you may need to go into your xfi advanced security and unblock it.

SugoiClippy stopped working temporarily due to an outage at unpkg, it has been switched to jsdelivr to fix the issue and is now working again.

SugoiClippy wasn't playing clips again, not sure what happened to the url server but restarting it fixed it, so it should be working again

I've now published the source code for VideoLink, the service I set up to get working mp4 links for twitch clips. If you're a developer looking to restore your clip player's functionality, you can get the code for yourself here github.com/sugoidogo/vi...
SugoiClippy can now play clips again! This isn't a permanent fix, just a temporary workaround until we get twitch to bring back mp4 urls in the API, but in the meantime I've created my own service for resolving a working url from an embed url. I'll be posting the full source later. (1/2)

If you're using my subathon countdown timer, go back to the setup page, accept the new permissions, and get a new URL. Twitch's old event system is shutting down on the 10th, and I'll be pushing an update to switch to the new system that morning, but it requires new permissions to work.

So the new SugoiTTS is limited to 3 instances at a time due to Twitch API limits. To get around this, there's now a combined source that will handle every configured TTS instance, minus the avatars. You'll have to choose between having up to 3 tts avatars or more than 3 tts configurations.

Don't get too excited about Spider Man 2 on PC not requiring PSN login. God of War Ragnarok didn't either until months later, and we all saw what happened with Helldivers. Don't forget they restricted game purchases to PSN regions. Just because it doesn't require it now doesn't mean it never will.

Shoutout to Aegis Authenticator for saving me from Authy. Also calling out Authy for not only not letting me export my tokens, but making it as hard as possible to switch to another authenticator. Nobody should use that service, if you want online sync for your authenticator use AuthPass.
