Yesterday was my parent’s 40th anniversary. Their love looked different than what I thought love was. Though, I think now, because of them, and age, I do know what love really is. This ornament was theirs. Dad isn’t here anymore, but I’d bet he’d say,
“Happy too many years, woman”, to my mom.

Was just standing out at my dad’s grave when my glasses lens just fell out. I am now going to drive with poor vision and navigate whatever drug store may be open to find a repair kit. Weird Christmas.

Would anyone like to explain to me why cats think the perfect time to aggressively clean themselves is at the crack of dawn while laying halfway on top of you in which their head hits you in the face repeatedly until you wake up and open your eyes just to be hit in the open eyeball with cat fur?

Yes, I trimmed the box spring again for the 80th time because he uses it as a scratching post. And yes, I gently ripped him from underneath the bed to make sure he had no strings in his mouth. He just likes to terrorize me.
