I always thought that our knowledge of all the script chaos shaped how we see it in some way. There’s other stories that make no sense at all and don’t get the same bad rap.

Oh it’s wonderful. I just always see lots of people picking holes. The seven parters have always had a bit of that treatment, but Ambassadors, in all its jump cut glory, is wonderful. Michael Ferguson absolutely pulls it together, then gives the action reply machine a fucking good kick.

There are some that just can’t stop laying into it, but I adore it. Sure, it’s a hot mess of scripting, production and a patchwork quilt of a restoration, but it’s tense, imaginative, and full of incredible, often very bugged-out imagery.
