Even without having read the book i can already tell Margaret Atwood is a genius for this! 🖤 I watched a YT video about how the book lays out the steps of a society coming under a theocracy and gave historical, as well as current examples. I think Ill definitely read this one next! ❤

Yesss i definitely wouldn't describe it as a "leisurely" read, but if youre in the mood for the type of book that you can really analyze and learn about the history behind, 10/10 would recommend! 🩷

I'll be 1000% honest it wasnt my favorite read. But Im glad i read it because now, as I learn more about the time period in which it was written, and about Orwell and his views, it adds so much necessary layers and context to his writing! One of those books you can just analyze the heck out of it
