A silly, sketchy comic of me and my partner from earlier today. I'm wearing a snail hat while their hair is loose and very scruffy. Panel 1: We're in a car with the sun's laser beams shining down on us. There's a sign for a Wawa convenience store on the side of the road. An arrow points to the car saying, "braving 103 degrees Fahrenheit heat to go to ANOTHER Wawa because the other had no bread." Panel 2: We're sweating and tapping on the order kiosk, having to reorder everything from the last store we went to. Panel 3: A tempting image reads "Beverages" but my hand is going to tap somewhere else. Panel 4: My partner interrupts, putting his hand on mine and saying, "Hey." A random customer looks with confusion or disgust (your choice) going, "Huh?" I cannot emphasize enough that I definitely said this way too loud because hot damn I really wanted that drink. But as the arrows in the panel show, directing to both of us, neither me nor my partner have any money.
