I’m so sorry; my husband has middle ear issues that strike randomly & even when the physical issues straighten out, he stays anxious for a bit (unlike his normal mood) bc he’s so worried that it’s about to happen again. I hope you feel better!

I really like the Coast Guard line bc I’ve always lived hundreds of miles from any coast, so are they going to fly a helicopter in to get all the local pot users?

This has been eating at me since I saw it. I think a lot of people are triggered for their own reasons. IANA journalist so I don’t know if the others keep quiet to keep access to witness some future epic meltdown?

“unnecessarily hard” is the perfect description, sorry you’re having to deal with this too! No doctors kid saw in the last year took ANY ACA plan but it did help w hospital & tests. Now that things are stable& we have diagnosis, if no doctor coverage anyway, catastrophic may be all we can do 🤞🏻

My adult chronically ill kid who lives w us: $525 to $860 for the “same” silver plan but on reading, deductibles are higher, coverage is less, etc. Looking at catastrophic plans.

I’m not sure I’ve ever said “young man/lady” to someone, though it’s a safe bet I’m older than the frontline staffers, but I could definitely see that being condescending, esp when followed by “is Sen Cruz aware that bill is as useless as tits on a bull?”

I’m going to ask to start running future phone call scripts by you, you know how to make the point! I generally don’t cuss at staffers, they’re in the middle (and my daughter got cussed at plenty working in a Dem rep’s office during Trump round 1).
