Yes I have played every mainline game twice from gen 1. They only got good compelling storylines post gen 3 I think (we don’t talk about gen 8)

I think people are just weirded out by the freshness of the paint since all the pets with the g2/3 molds are dulled with age. The pandas are still inexplicably shit though.
