Jazz OTD: Lost for decades, the John Coltrane Quartet's March 6, 1963 recordings were ultimately released as "Both Directions At Once: The Lost Album" in 2018. It's a major find, well worth hearing either on its own terms or as a part of Coltrane's trajectory. Here's my favorite track. #jazzsky
