A stomp around the walberswick and Dunwich area today provided some brilliant views of Crossbills and Firecrests, spotted Redshank and Sparrowhawk being some highlights.

After a 3 days of looking out to the sea, a finally got a Little Auk. And crazy enough it dropped onto the sea just in front of where I was. Brilliant.

Brilliant day spent at Landguard NNR, with Spotted Fly, Common and Black Redstart, 10+ clouded yellows, we managed to relocate the Hoopoe at a nearby Playground. And managed to get views of the Wryneck that appeared late in the day. Great day had by all.

Great day at Minsmere today with 75sp. Highlights being Common crane pair, a pair of Little Ringed Plovers, first Sandwich Tern of the year and I managed to pick out a Yellow Legged Gull amongst the other big gulls on East scrape.

Great day spent at Abberton reservoir. Got a lifer with Lesser Scaup, brilliant views of Red crested pochard, Ring necked Duck and Slavonian Grebe. Year list 166sp

Amazing day birding at Abberton reservoir. 2 lifers with Smew and Red Crested Pochard, also saw Great Grey Shrike, Hen Harrier, Slav and black neck grebe, SEO, and Great Northern Diver. Met some super nice birders along the way and brought my year list up to 133sp.
