There are a lot of emerging authors whose literary diet seems to consist entirely of trope-ridden fanfiction. Nothing inherently wrong with tropes *or* fanfiction but I feel like you need to expand your horizons a bit if you want to do this as your job.

and to be clear neither i nor anyone else is saying right-wing people *can't* join bluesky lmao, it's just that if you only want to start fights we won't engage and if you post hate speech you'll get banned. just act like a reasonable, civil person and you'll be fine.

at least the bluesky algorithm doesn't award controversy and the block function actually works. hopefully they'll get bored soon and i'll just keep blocking them til then
