What a lovely commission to do. It was so good to be able to meet and draw this young woman 13 years on. To see how she's changed and yet how the spark of her younger self still shines through.

I've had a few weeks of (happy) distraction with trips to moor and city and sea so I can't complain! Still progress on arty activities has been slow as a result. I'm pleased with how this commission is going, though. I'm hoping you can see a love of life, a wry wit, and a generous spirit.
