What would worry me would be Starmer going but McSweeney staying - as said I think he's part of the problem, if not most of it. I'd rather like Reeves to go, too. She seems completely out of her depth. Having said all that I hope they can turn things round.

Agree. Do your friends know that Starmer will be gone soon, or is it wishful thinking? However, I think the real bogeyman is McSweeney, the kingmaker. Vital that he goes, too.

They're still running after Reform. Starmer needs to get rid of his Master of Ceremonies, McSweeney, or he will be out the door.

How do we know, given hardly anyone is testing. No wastewater testing. Just relying on hospital admissions?

Exactly.

I have no sympathy for her at all.

What's he doing there anyway? Just two dictators having a love-in?

We do need them and we need them to be called for.

Is your new leader at all interested in Covid and the harm it does?

They won't do anything though as they're frightened of Reform.

I was thinking of the Greens, but not with this chap in charge.

No. Someone below has pointed out that this clip is incomplete and she does not suggest that a hardworking doctor would have to do voluntary work on top.

Agree. Am no fan of the chancellor but that's appalling. Thank you for raising it but shame on the person who edited it. The post should be deleted.

Yup, I remember her 'no such thing as society' and the greed is good ethos that revolted moderate One Nation Tories like my parents.

So Maggie's ghost has infiltrated the Labour party.I'm sure she'd be delighted. The rest of us aren't.

It's very moving. I know so little about this country and its situation. How was she able to get this article out into the West where the Guardian was able to publish it?
