I just heard that according to the Chinese zodiac, January 29 will begin The Year of the Snake. I think they’re off by 9 days, and it should repeat annually for the next 4 years.

With apologies to George Orwell for the slight change in verbiage from his book 1984, this sums up today’s Inauguration: “It was a bright cold day in January, and the clocks were striking thirteen”.
