Yes, liberals have been very successful at upholding a system that alienates people from decision making, exploits people based on place of origin and class, and depends on endless growth kicking the legs out from under the Earth's systems that we all depend on.

Well isn't there a point in saying whether or not someone else professed an ideology? Usually saying something like that is done to disavow someone.

While I think it is worthwhile to have a social media anarchist presence, can you fathom how awkward it would be to "organize" folks who turn out live on a different continent? Who cares about local solidarity when you can put your faith in someone living half a world away?

Does it make sense to call anything before Mussolini fascist though? I don't have an exact definition of fascism, but oppression of populations that are seen as a threat by the state and settler colonialism go back much farther than when conditions culminated in fascism.

Being a settler has nothing to do with the passage of time, but is instead about belonging to a population that is the beneficiary of land theft by the state (Canada).

They seem to be arguing that most abolitionist support the death penalty as a first line of defense against crime in an anarchist society. This has not been my experience from what I have read.
