How can you make these claims whilst admitting you didn’t look at intensity? Or if there was a reason why people chose not to walk for more than 15 mins every day? Or whether those that did, did so because they have a dog, known to have other beneficial effects? Bah

I paid for my own DEXA scan.

I’ve lost count of the times I’ve been asked ‘when are you getting out of London?’

Kids with spiky profiles (ie really good in some areas and poor in others) are chucked out of school if they don’t pass a Maths and English test under exam conditions that don’t favour them.
It doesn’t matter how brilliant and talented they are in subjects they’d take at A level, they’re out.

Why am I now getting ads on startup? I know about team viewer, thank you: but since we were told by our IT guy to make sure we were all on windows 11, each computer in the practice has team viewer ads when we switch on.
And i can’t find where to turn this off.

Traditionally, white collar job prospects have favoured those with high processing speeds. AI can do this faster, and will become more accurate with time.
Perhaps our more creative, imaginative, neurodivergent population will become those most in demand.

Whilst the baby would not carry the mother’s genes, the environment they grow in has as much influence as their genes do. the stresses, the food, the exercise: all that has an effect.
Or maybe I’m uncomfortable with women as empty, unimportant vessels.

ION i had a visit from a police officer this afternoon about my latest phone theft. Nothing they can do, will close case.
He tells me they’re not even allowed to chase after the thieves when they see it happen: and agrees with me that electric bikes should be banned in London.
