In the 60s & 70s my mom went grocery shopping alone
2 kids stayed at home w/Dad who ignored us
She was gone for hours
I think she just wanted to stay away from us
I'd leave my son in daycare while I went shopping, until he was old enough to stay home alone

I seriously doubt that AOC could win a city wide race in New York City, and I don't think she could ever win a race in New York state, let alone a nationwide race
