At the local level, the progressive candidates swept all five seats on the ballot for the Howard County Board of Education. Newcomers Meg Ricks and Andrea Chamblee will join incumbents Antonia Watts, Jolene Mosley, and Jen Mallo on the board. Congratulations to all!

Finally, thank you to the many volunteers who attended our events this election cycle, knocking on doors or writing letters. Although we did not get the results we hoped for at the national level, we are proud of our work and will continue to build a community of progressive activists!
