Wonderful 2-day author visit to Bedford Elementary School in Bedford PA last week. I even signed a Cicada Symphony book to a student who had a “pet” cicada. 🤪 Kids are the best!

I’d love to start a positive thread. Sometimes our significant others do cute things they don’t even realize are cute. My husband likes to cook and when he’s making a new recipe he prints it and puts little check boxes next to the ingredients he needs buy. Tell me a cute thing your person does.

Had an amazing #authorvisit to Sanders Corner Elem! We talked about STEM, fractured tales, and rhyme. One student knew you can make energy from algae (what Beauty and The Beaker is abt) and another told me he’s writing a book. When I get down on the world, these are the moments that lift me up.

Had an amazing #authorvisit to Sanders Corner Elem! We talked about STEM, fractured tales, and rhyme. One student knew you can make energy from algae (what Beauty and The Beaker is abt) and another told me he’s writing a book. When I get down on the world, these are the moments that lift me up.

It’s almost turkey time! If you’re looking for a fun, silly, rhyming, read-aloud Thanksgiving story with heart (bonus, it has a craft inside!) please check out my book with Simona Sanfilippo, HOW TO HIDE A TURKEY. It’s is a good reminder that Thanksgiving really is all about the side dishes.
