I believe this is absolutely true! Nine-year-old grand told me that she was having trouble with math this year after having a tutor all last year and starting to improve. But the curriculum changed and it’s all different now. Queue the tutors again.

Nine-year-old grand in fourth grade does her homework from books using Audible. She asked me not to buy her books for gifts anymore because she doesn’t like to read. She’s in a STEM school, where they are not teaching children arithmetic tables.

Pure greed.

I had a big curly white dog who didn’t do much of anything. He didn’t walk on a leash, he didn’t behave, for the most part he was bad in public places. But we went to Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth & stood along the race route. He sat up like a king and regally watched everyone go by.

What a scam.

Not only the social sciences, but literature, basic art history, world history, civics-don’t mention humanities, philosophy, ancient history or anthropology. The hallmarks of a liberal arts education.

One of my favorite cities to visit! It’s so easy to get around & lots of stuff to do. We girls went in for the flower show in March, hung out in the city for three days, then rented a car, drove to Niagara Falls & spent a day or two there. Drove ourselves to the airport to go home.
