LOL Also why is the word "running" ( in the phrase "running" for Congress) in quotes? Is Cuellar only pretending to run for office? Maybe he IS running for Congress but doing it "ironically"? LOL

Wow. Not familiar with this song ( and I know practically nothing about this PM) but she's not bad actually. Like, I don't know if she'd get any chairs to turn around in the blind auditions on The Voice, but she sings pretty well for a politician.

Thanks for posting this. I am a Democrat, and the first time I saw a video of this Platner dude speaking, he seemed dodgy AF to me and everything else of him I've seen since only reinforced that perspective. Now looking at this quote, I feel well confirmed in my political instincts.

If NATO doesn't stand for the countries in NATO, then what is the point of NATO, I guess? I mean what should NATO do, just send a "strongly worded letter" to Russia every time it violates NATO airspace, in perpetuity?

Maybe some kind of item you can attach to the peeler that makes a pinging sound when you get near it, with a coordinating search item for your key chain. Of course then you'd have to find your keys first.

Been I while since I took biology in high school or college. I know what mitochondria are but never heard of "mitochondrial challenges". There are mitochondrial disorders which are genetic. Not something a kid would get from too much junk food etc. Does anyone know what RKF Jr is blathering about?

How is anyone being snatched like this poor man OR bystanders who happen to view this supposed to know and assume that these masked gangs of men driving non marked vehicles actually ARE govt agents of any kind? How do we know they're not random criminals? Why should bystanders not call the police?

I agree. I think people get too caught up in these product boycotts and think it's going to change anything. I used to, but I don't anymore. These are huge corporations and they will protect their bottom line one way or the other. A certain demographic of shoppers walking away won't help.

She was so great. I'm a tremendous Amy Winehouse fan, but I felt kind of bad for Sharon when the Dap-Kings went off to record with Amy. I'm glad Sharon did start getting some well deserved attention before she passed away. May her memory be a blessing.
