weather timeline:

7:30pm last night: campus is opening at 10 am because of inclement weather.
7:40am: campus is opening at 12:00.
10:30am: email from Professor - roads still suck. i'm cancelling class today.

I hope everyone who didn’t vote for that Orange Demon is protecting their peace today and for the next however many years this bullshit goes on.

so, last semester i was taking a science class at one of the alternate campuses which was behind a shopping center. there was a bagel shop in the plaza that also made really good sandwiches. of COURSE, i want my usual chicken cutlet sandwich with fresh mozzarella/pesto/hot&sweet peppers right now..

sometimes you just need some gummy peach rings, a good movie and a cat that just wants some attention to make the afternoon better.

anyone else feeling totally exhausted about this week in general, or am i losing it? no? okay.

i dunno how i'm functioning properly right now. i had 2 chemistry tests yesterday (one of them was my lab final) ... on my way home my aunt's cardiologist office called and said to bring her to the hospital... so i was waiting in the ED from 330 til nearly 10pm.

the events in the past week haven't been ideal with my aunt being in the hospital, but at least she's home now. whew! the stress from that alone? i lost 5 lbs. i mean, yay! but 🤦🏻‍♀️

had to bring out the boots and the warm socks today. i have a feeling i'm going to overheat today...

i need a self-care weekend. they pretty much don't exist for me anymore because all i do is study and make sure my aunt is okay.

mentally exhausted. had a test on Tuesday in anatomy & physiology... a test in chemistry for lecture and a quiz in my chem lab today. i know i fucked up on the lab quiz though. my brain just stopped working.
