They mostly likely would have hit BEP a lot sooner if they launched the game on Steam.

The game is in good shape now. (However, there's no excuse for 'release first and fix it later' approach). I sincerely hope they learned their lessons and do not repeat this.
Anyway, I'm glad that people still enjoy playing this game.
