Amazing! I was excited to be able to see it in my backyard in St. Paul, MN. Brightest I've ever seen in the city! My pic, & my partner's, are not *nearly* as good as yours but still so jazzed about it!

Typically gills run right down the stem, stem is off center, they're very thick fleshed, grow on hardwood (angel wing, the tummy no no lookalike grows on conifers), & they have a fishy sort of smell. These are winter oysters my GF & I foraged 2 yrs ago, for ref:

Roosters are actually the best, just misunderstood ❤️🐓! Yes, I've been kicked/bitten a bit, but I've worked with 15 roosters at the rescue so far; most are sweethearts, like Brooky here.

Everything is awful, but today I got sent a painting of Barb, from Chewy, & it made me SO happy I legit cried.

She's 4 years old, disabled, & happy to be here, but I know our time is short. This was such a lovely surprise! #birds

#CrochetAway theme is headwear & I looooove making hats. I donate a bunch to unhoused neighbors & whipped up a couple as gifts. Nessie, Mothman & Barred Rock chickens are self-drafted motifs. The cryptid ones I kept 🥰

Your looks are all so great! I kinda miss getting zazzed up & dressing cute. The last time I dressed up was to show off a particularly beautiful & funky crochet sweater I'd just finished. This was my old vibe when I was a graphic designer instead of a chicken servant 😂

I had a little extra I just poured into a glass storage container so I could test the set & flavor. Magnolia has a lovely ginger-cardamom type flavor with a bit of florals. It's wonderful.

Finally completed my Nessie bag! Self-drafted mosiac crochet motif, strap is 2 Tunisian sides slip st together. Bag liner is Mothman fabric from Spoonflower; my tidiest, most well-sewn liner yet! Very pleased. #crochet 🧶
