Many of the AI state laws are actually about deepfakes and are designed to protect politicians during elections.
This is why people think politicians are idiots at best, or at worst in the pockets of billionaires

The full impact being deepfakes of them, their spouses and their family doing many embarrassing things at the most inopportune times.

Immunity laws like this are terrible ideas and need to be crushed. They prevent any recourse that innocent people could have from the bad actions/actors in tech companies and throw them in the garbage.
