Yes, it does get a bad rap, which is so sad. In fact, I sent Pres Obama an email about the great care my father received and he sent me one of the 10 letters he wrote every month, thanking me. He wrote about his uncle. Of course, I have his letter framed. What an honor. I wish I could post it here.

I have nothing but praise for the VA healthcare. I'm an RN and closely monitored my dad's care. His care was top-notch, the gold standard of medical treatment. Yes, get in there and make some well-care appointments.
