Trip Tracker has now arrived on the Android beta!

View your train’s upcoming stop, transfer times, and ETA outside of the app with push notifications. The tracked trip is also pinned on the app allowing you to easily return to it.

Did you know that the MTA added more B train midday service over the summer? Before the improvement, B trains would terminate at 145 St outside of rush hour. Now, every other B train runs up to Bedford Park Blvd in the Bronx during the midday.

Version 1.2 of The Weekendest iOS App is released!

New in this version is the setting to order train times by train line instead of by next departure time. This affects viewing station train times, as well as transfer connection times for a trip.

Version 1.1 is now live with some UX improvements (bigger buttons!) from user feedback.

Also, new in this release: specify destination with Trip Tracker. Number of stops, and ETA are shown on Lock Screen for The Weekendest+ subscribers. They also have access to custom app icons.

If you were a beta tester of the iOS app, be sure to fill out the feedback survey found in the Settings tab, to get a free year subscription of The Weekendest+ ($14.99 value) with the public release version of the app. If you don’t see it, make sure you’re on version 0.7.3.

Version 0.7.2 is out today. New in this release: Push Notifications. When viewing a station, you can select the Notify button on any upcoming departures, and have the app send you an alert when it’s due to arrive soon.
