It seems like a basic concept that wouldn't be held. Most people will argue that they don't ever think that way and never have. But it is so ground into people culturally that it's harder to root out than kudzu or bamboo and even knowing it is a part of yourself is an enormous win.

That horrible moment in development where you realize that everyone else in the church wasn't following the "be nice to other people and take care of them" part of the doctrine. And it's just understood that they don't do that even though it's literally the most important part.
