The update I know everyone’s been excited for… I got to use the gym cuffs today.

All of this to say, I did go to and enjoy the Sunday Social and will be leveraging any photos taken to the fullest extent I can. So I also own my complete hypocrisy.

But I also put an ask out to whoever sees this and can make a difference… do events at 4 or 6pm really need to be scored by heavy bass? I posit you’d make kinksters as horny - if not more so - if the members party soundtrack was, I dunno, something like Enya? (jk. I think.)

I want to be more a part of the fetish community (both socially and sexually - say hi, strangers!) and part of this is me acknowledging I need to support more social events that incredible volunteers put on. I’m certainly guilty of not supporting them as much as I could.

But as a non-clubber, non-drinker and (most importantly) someone whose fetishes benefit from connection and communication which I struggle to cultivate under a deafening technobeat, I’m left choosing between feeling overwhelmed at an event; or staying home and cheering people on from the sidelines.
