One more scene and I’m officially done with the first draft of my short story. It isn’t much but soon I’ll be about to say I finished writing something!

Survivors of any abuse are not problems that need solving, or aren’t capable of being loved. They’re the ones who need it the most and we need to drop this trope.
Even though im a writer, i would like to point out that ive struggled with symbolism, especially in movies etc. so me not catching on as to why the ending is actually kinda shit for El is to expected. However I’ve read up on it and I’m fully behind why it was a shot way for her to end it.
Finished stranger things. I liked it. There’s stuff to criticise, there’s stuff to like. Had a couple of tears here and there with the flashbacks. Being a dad who hasn’t seen his kids in 5 years, seeing how young the actors were in earlier seasons stung me a little but it was good.

Friendly PSA: make sure you download and install any software BEFORE heading to a coffee shop.
I’m now relying on word pad which is fine. However trying to open my previous work has messed the formatting up so it’s easier to write a separate scene and fit it in later
