Sometimes, when I'm receiving new arrivals, the books just jump right out of the box and into my hands and then I stop everything I'm doing and read 10 pages and then I buy a new book to bring home. This is one of those times. Congrats on the new book @dskamper.bsky.social @thenewpress.bsky.social!

Sometimes you open a box and you're so excited to see a book that you squeal a little bit. Can't wait to read this one. A page-turning thriller about the dark side of our never ending wars and their terrifying reverberations on our society.
