just here to shout into a wholesome void about things I like and have no creative talent for 🎵

Ik it's just the moodboard but the idea of either "random stone carving??" or "$15 of gas, take it or leave it" being options amuses me

Ok, the Bastion medley at the end though

I may be biased because half the tracks are from Transistor (which I need to actually play more than 10 minutes of, but gosh the soundtrack is easily my favourite of them).

I was loaned a Wii U from a coworker 5ish years ago (for a single at-the-time-exclusive) and it lasted like 15 minutes. Luckily the charge cable was decently long!

It also has Mia. Mia is the best. [6/7]

Then there's the "there's an election for the alien races' representative but the candidate is useless so they want us to help them rig it" quest which ends up with us giving them an "agrees to everything" serum and results in this speech. (we'd already got them insatiably addicted to pizza) [5/7]

Then the actual side quests (normal ones, not just the voiced affinity ones) can be almost anything. There's the expected "go rescue another squad with your mech". Then there's the "we've built a water purification plant but some cult is poisoning one of our friendly alien races" questline. [4/7]

I've raved about the affinity chart before (it's absurdly big) and I don't think there's any game I've ever wanted so much to talk to all the NPCs (and there's a lot!) just to find out about the world or because I was invested in how some characters from a side quest are getting on now. [3/7]

There's so many things to like about the game (interesting-but-not-overly-complicated combat/builds, Sawano soundtrack, such a big varied world that is genuinely fun to explore) but the standout will always be how good the SIDE quests are at telling the story of the world and the characters. [2/7]
