73 years of darkness | 40 years since first light

hopefully a little less time before you can explore it in subROV 😅

Titanic wreck, view of the well deck up to the bridge, looking aft and to port. There's a few elements missing (ropes), but it's pretty much done up to A-deck. ⚓

Getting this " mast bridge" to look accurate was incredibly hard.
All measurements and guesses I made, such the mast´s size and angle, had to be right, or things wouldn´t align properly. I´m very glad this is done :D"

Forward section of Titanic's B deck - note how the mast barely rests on A deck's almost fallen bulwark (foreground and right in the picture).

Titanic well deck overwiew, looking from port, with the raw appeal of the untextured wireframe 😂⚓

Exploring the Titanic wreck, at the well deck's starboard corner, facing forward. Lots to unpack and some intriguing elements -did that rope actually snap? 😮⚓

Happy World Ocean Day!

Though, dare I say, it should be **Ocean World Day**, a reminder that most of this planet's surface is covered by the vast seas 🌊🌐

in a few hours it will be the 113th anniversary of the sinking of the #Titanic😥 Alas, I don't have the wreck ready yet, but here's a view of the forecastle (WIP, no textures)

Here’s the finished model of the Prometheus heater that once stood in Captain Smith’s cabin and now rests on the Titanic’s well deck -yes, it is *that* yellow, judging from all the reference I’ve seen.

from the dark abyss, a silhouette emerges

Maybe I need to take a rest from working on the wreck 😅

or maybe I could 3D scan wax drippings and build a library of rusticles 😮

3D model WIP of the Prometheus heater from Captain Smith's cabin, now resting on Titanic's well deck. I didn't find any blueprints or good references so I had to eyeball a few things, but overall I think it's reasonably accurate.
