Inspired by a homie. A list of stuff I experienced this year that I think stuck with me. This year was amazing for watching/playing stuff so I hope next year follows.

Arcane S2.
A very beautiful culmination of the Piltover/Zaun story. So many great character moments for everyone here. My favourite is definitely Caitlyn and Vi who really got time to shine this season. This show is just everything I'd want from a league show and more. Great soundtrack and visuals.

Uma Musume: Beginning of a new era.
Oh my eyes this film is too pretty. Some of the prettiest movie animation I've ever seen. Extremely expressive and full of emotion. The characters are fun and the twists and motivations are great. I think I'd rate it slightly higher than RTTT overall. Watch it!!

Uma Musume: Road to the top.
My first jump into the horse racing idol anime and it gave me three very endearing characters to cheer for in a very succinct, emotionally driven show. Wearing its heart on its sleeve in lots of very solid moments. Give it a go, it's only 4 episodes and it's beautiful.

It took me 9 months but it's finally (somewhat) finished! At least the main body - the hands haha. This is my first Perfect Grade and it definitely lives up to the name. I learnt a lot while building it but it was still fairly easy. The armor especially was very intuitive! Moreso than some HGs.

Outer Wilds: Echoes of the Eye.
This DLC has got to be in the running for one of the best DLCs a game can have. I originally thought the DLC a bit too linear compared to the base game but after finishing it I can proudly say I was really really wrong. Horror can be beaten with a smarter mind.

Arcane (S1)
Magnificent series that takes League of Legends lore and pens a very compelling piece of television out of it. Character relationships are deeply intertwined with lots of fun dominos playing out. The soundtrack is pretty good but the animation and action definitely take the cake.

March comes in like a lion (S1).
An incredibly introspective series utilizing Shogi as a means to drive it forward. March comes in like a lion details Rei Kiriyama's struggle with his life as a pro shogi player. Some characters are rays of sunshine, some are torrents of rain. Highly recommended.

Those ones are finished!! They hold zip-locked runners from old HGs now. The Freedom 2.0 especially was one of my favourite builds ever.

Current Gunpla backlog. Finally got around to throwing out some old boxes so this is officially the stack. Boxes marked above the line haven't been touched at all yet.

Pikmin 1 (as part of 1+2)
This game is incredible for its time but has aged a bit. The environments are still top quality, with level design that is pretty great. I think the game leans too heavily into combat with gimmicky AI and each pikmin's abilities being so hands-on makes it hard to dandori.

Goodbye, Eri.
An interesting story about grief and how we choose to remember people. A very pretty manga and coming off the heels of Look Back feels like a continuation of some of the themes. I particularly like the way catharsis is handled in the manga. I wholeheartedly recommend this.

"No matter how beautiful the flowers are, people will wipe them out again anyway."

This kit was just plain fun to build and looks extremely gorgeous. Looking forward to trying some more weapons and the wings of light soon.

Warhammer Space Marine 2.
As a fledgling Warhammer fan this game has given me an intrigue on the world and lore. Containing gorgeous set pieces and very satisfying controls on PS5 makes the game look and feel amazing. The combat however is a bit rough and it definitely lacks depth. Not bad though.

Look Back.
Had the pleasure of watching this one in cinemas. The film is extremely heartfelt and jam packed with emotion. I think it'll hit harder on the rewatch because taking the film as one whole package just hits extremely hard. Amazing animation and soundtrack. It's amazing

Fate/Stay Night (Fate).
Nasu hits it out of the park with a very lovely story. If you've read Tsukihime or Witch on the holy night then there isn't much here you won't find there. I don't mean that in a bad way either, it's consistent with everything he writes in that it will hurt you by the end!

4. 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim
Non-linear VN with an intriguing gameplay section. The characters are all amazing and it's fun all round. Soundtrack bangs too.

3. Rain World
A beautiful environment with an interactive ecosystem that keeps me coming back to see what mischief will be caused. It's a tough one to get into but extremely rewarding.

2. Armored Core 6.

A modern masterpiece. Incredibly fun gameplay. Makes you feel extremely strong while also kicking your ass at the same time. Great narrative as well with many different endings. Very replayable too.

1. Higurashi When They Cry.
Trust me on this one, this series will take you places you never thought. Absolutely heartfelt narrative with good elements of psychological horror too.

Going to continue my media thread on here.
Gundam Breaker 4.
A fun game for the most part with crazy good customisability and interesting characters. The combat got a bit repetitive and the story ended up souring me a bit at the end. I'd recommend it on sale but it's definitely just okay.
