Tucker Carlson has always been one of the clearest examples of this. Even on Fox News, he sounded indistinguishable from what you would find on white nationalist or neo-Nazi podcasts. Those fringe shows couldn't push the "great replacement" into mainstream discourse—but Tucker Carlson did.

The suffering of people in major cities is in the news. But there is suffering all over the country. Rural communities are getting hammered. Farmers crushed. The reality of our existence - past all the algorithms and bullshit - brings a shared cause.

Fighting ideological fascism isn’t enough to win these people over. We need to fight the notion that war has victory.

Somehow they don’t see this. They only see the left suffering. They see a world where we do not exist, or are not needed.

They are not turning their backs on Trump. They want him to keep going. They want him to double down.

It’s been very challenging, but I have tried to stay connected to conservative friends.
Many of which were democrats a decade ago. They were sucked in by religious fever, or Covid hysteria, or whatever the fuck else.
