Is it naive to ask why we no longer enlist firefighting helicopters like Elvis?
I know it was on loan from the USA but instead of prioritising subs why not this sort of life saving equipment?

Agree, our media in 0z has been decimated in the last 8 yrs, even the public broadcaster radio.

Yep ours was too, springers are not fond of the heat either.
It was too hostile heat for humans too.
I filled up the birdbath early, mind it was soon like a hot tub I wager.

I went out in 36c at 10.30 to get my dog in I did not stay out longer than five minutes but I had to put an ice pack on my neck when I came back it was too much.
Dog is 10 and epileptic so was very concerned about him. He’s ok and we put the AC on all relaxed now.
