Oh also I stopped vaping and I have never actually had that much trouble quitting *anything* ever before. Had to physically throw them all away and sit on my hands not to buy more.

…and I will be getting ADHD medication at the end of the month for the first time in my 41 years. I’m trying not to be too hopeful but am going in there asking for Elvanse/Vyvanse which I have heard from multiple people is great.

Oh also I’m being made redundant but tbh I have been waiting for this for the past two years and now they have to pay me to leave muahaha. Sometimes my absolute bullheaded stubbornness pays off. Rarely - but sometimes!

Can we talk about the space navy men now? Especially this one with the pretty eyes. He is my blorbo, actually my blorbo since I was around 10, so he’s my OG Doctor Blorbo. He was in Westerns playing a heavy for 10 years before Star Trek so he looks like this

Yes, absolutely - Amongst Women I think tells you the most about who he is as a writer so maybe start there, but he’s also a phenomenal short story writer. Enjoy, he’s a fabulous Irish writer and a big influence on Claire Keegan if you’ve read Small Things Like These or Foster?
