I tend to start after the office hour rush subsides and head straight out of the city. But then, I live on the outskirts and can get to the rural roads quickly. But for really long rides, a good rule of thumb is to start at or before daybreak… 😁

Depends on where you are really - up north it can get really cold… in the south of India, it is pleasant - 12oC could be considered a cold wave in south India
