one of the major improvements being made to the code on Kumos, is the ability to easily do "roll backs" if something goes wrong.

If we can't buy an item from the shop for you (e.g. because the one we selected got bought while you were on the page) we can "roll back" everything else we did

There is that `<inventory-selector>` component that I got out for the compost feature.

That means I can easily add new features that pull from your inventory.

This is **much better** than our old method of building these kind of narratives. We had a system we used called "dialogs", but it still required a lot of hard coding, like shown in the example here.

Most of the things we ask you to do during mini events boils down to these.

Imagine if during the ice fields, you got the event *during the action* that gave you option to battle, and if you won you improved your chances of making it through by 10% (and maybe a chance at special loot idk)

For the admins to be able to generate these kind of pages on the fly, filling in the images and the prizes will be HUGE. Expect more mini-plots that make use of the NPCs.

And using one system means having data on how they perform against each other. very cool!!

Each play will keep track of meta details, like your hunger or happiness (or, e.g. you're having a chat with a NPC - cleverness or cheekiness). Scenes can add/remove, or update the value of those variables, and future scenes can depend on them.

working on being able to look at what all of the avatars on the site (and the saved outfits) are wearing, and start showing what the most popular clothes or common pairs are
