I love that the Knockout Tours have dynamic transitions for the ending. Having non-looping music play during the intermissions basically makes that impossible to do though.
But turns out there IS a way to hear a fadeless transition between two tracks. You just gotta be lucky on the timing!

New fun fact about Mario Kart World I just found out; There are "zones" in Intermission races near the destination track where, if the music ends, it'll play the "approach" music next. Go past this zone, and the music fade out instead, so that the approach music plays when you reach the start line.

For the record, the kanji 糸 is literally just a stylized depiction of a bundle of silk thread. I dunno why they had to add the whole poop angle ⁉️⁉️⁉️

I totally get that Wanikani (and a few other sources I've seen) teach mnemonics for kanji components fairly loosely. It's just to help you get familiar with the shapes and memorize them.

Okay but can I get you to look at this thing... Its a Psittacosaurus, a Cretaceous parrot-looking dinosaur from China, and we basically know exactly what it looked like in life cause most of its muscle shape, skin pigmentation, scale arrangement, and integument were preserved in this fossil! :D

Texture imprints, bone density and growth, muscle attachment points, stress simulation, there's so much work going into reconstructions. Obviously they're not ALL to the same standard but...
I think the constructions people really need to make fun of are the ones based on like 5 bones and a prayer.

I love etymology because I can look up the origins of Yahweh and Jesus and learn they mean "The One Who Is" and "Joshua the Anointed" and then look at someone and say
"Did you know God and Jesus mean 'The Dude', and 'Special Josh'..." AND BE RIGHT.
