You know, I totally agree with you. I just saw a half dozen souls-likes on that list and could vividly picture them getting ganked by the first enemy in a game, switching to the next one out of frustration and getting ganked again, over and over, and felt bad.

This is a great list and I wish you well, but half of these are literally the same game. If you just play Dark Souls you have sort of played all of these.

Had a long day. Staring at this on the train home really hit a good nerve. Very good “coming home after a long day” vibes to this.
