I never was a fan of overly bright, cheery photos. I much prefer those dark photos taken in the night. When the sun sets and and light becomes an oddity. Light is most photographer’s friend, but I find comfort in the lack thereof. Familiar, guaranteed, with no questions of its return. Never ending.
