indeed it looks like CETA (already a pretty comprehensive FTA) will be moved into something ever closer to the EEA & Customs Union - hope so !

France exports mostly luxury goods so the wealthy American consumers will still be buying them no doubt ... be good to trade oil in €s if the world's up for it !

Still haven't stopped giggling with fellow geography/geopolitics nerds & teachers about penguins getting slapped with 10% & French overseas departments getting variable tariffs to the EU... they haven't figured it out for the Vatican yet either.. does anyone know where they found their atlas?

Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guyana as well ..all just ordinary departments for us French & he's tariffed them all differently when in the EU ... he's in desperate need of someone with basic school geography, Peter.

found Guadeloupe & French Guyane .. he hasn't carved out the Vatican yet either ...got Andorra & Monaco, someone was half awake ...it's hilarious for anyone who looked at an atlas at some point ...

heck, there's different tariffs for Martinique, La Réunion ... does he not have any people there who know they're just ordinary French departments in the EU with €s the lot ? ... the DomToms as they're known ... going back to see can I find Guadeloupe, New Caledonia etc ...
