More about his contracts in my homebrew world, they have a wide range of time frame and uses. His longest contract is still on going and has been going on for multiple generations. The shortest contract only existed for a week and a half, to help someone get their village free from an attack.

Styxe's name is based on his birth, in the homebrew world of DnD he was played in his Druid clan named children based on where and what time they were born. Styxe Umbra loosely means Born by the river at night.

The contracts Styxe uses for his magic give a good deal of protection to those that have signed, Styxe will step in if they are in life threatening danger.
